Align Systems ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates TrotIQ, an AI-powered equestrian training, progress, and horse-care companion app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use TrotIQ, our website, support channels, subscriptions, AI analysis, coaching, calendar, notes, to-do, horse profile, session tracking, and related services.

1. Information You Provide

Profile and onboarding data such as name, riding experience, discipline, goals, motivation preferences, selected training focus, and app setup choices.

Horse and stable management data such as horse names, notes, health entries, care reminders, calendar events, to-do items, and training plans.

Session and progress data including ride history, streaks, analysis results, scores, saved feedback, progress metrics, and library entries.

User content including riding videos, thumbnails, extracted frames, images, prompts, text, notes, and other content submitted for AI analysis or coaching.

Support communications, including your email address and information you send when requesting help or making a privacy request.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Device and app information such as device model, operating system, app version, language, region, platform, diagnostic information, and permitted identifiers.

Usage and performance data such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, feature usage, subscription flow events, analysis events, crashes, logs, and approximate session duration.

Purchase and entitlement data such as product identifiers, subscription status, trial status, renewal state, purchase timestamps, and store-provided transaction metadata. Payments are processed by Apple or Google, not directly by us.

Advertising and attribution data where permitted, including Meta/Facebook app events and advertising identifiers if your platform settings allow collection.

3. Photos, Videos, Camera, and Media Access

TrotIQ may ask for photo library, video, or camera access so you can select or capture riding footage for AI analysis. We only access media you choose to provide or permissions you grant. Uploaded riding footage may be processed by AI service providers to generate riding feedback, horse-condition observations, coaching recommendations, summaries, and progress insights.

4. How We Use Information

Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve app features including onboarding, AI ride analysis, horse-condition observations, coaching chat, drills, session history, progress tracking, calendar, notes, to-dos, and horse profiles.

Process uploaded videos, images, frames, and text to generate requested AI feedback and recommendations.

Manage subscriptions, free trials, entitlements, restore purchases, billing status, and fraud prevention through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.

Send service messages, respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, detect abuse, maintain app security, measure performance, improve user experience, optimize advertising campaigns where permitted, and comply with law.

5. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and monetize the App, or as required by law.

AI processing providers and Rork AI/toolkit services may receive uploaded content, extracted frames, prompts, and context needed to produce AI analysis or coaching responses.

RevenueCat receives purchase, entitlement, app, and device-related data needed to manage subscriptions and restore purchases.

Apple App Store and Google Play process payments, refunds, subscriptions, transaction history, and store account data under their own privacy policies.

Meta/Facebook SDK may receive app events, device identifiers, attribution, and usage data for analytics and advertising optimization, subject to consent and platform settings.

Hosting, infrastructure, diagnostics, support providers, authorities, courts, regulators, or parties to a business transfer may receive information where necessary.

6. Legal Bases, Storage, and Retention

We process information to perform our contract with you, with consent for optional permissions and certain analytics/advertising uses, for legitimate interests such as security and improvement, and to comply with legal obligations. Many records are primarily stored locally on your device. AI-related content is transmitted only as needed to generate requested analysis or coaching, troubleshoot, secure the service, comply with law, or enforce terms. Subscription and transaction records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their policies.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including transport security and access controls where applicable. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable by contacting us.

Clear local app data through available in-app settings or by uninstalling the App. Some store transaction records are controlled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.

Control camera, photo, video, notification, tracking, and advertising permissions through iOS or Android settings.

Opt out of interest-based advertising through Apple App Tracking Transparency, Limit Ad Tracking, Android advertising settings, or other platform controls.

Cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

9. Children and Minors

TrotIQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under 18 should use the App only with parent or guardian consent.

10. Regional Disclosures

EEA, UK, Swiss, California, and other eligible users may request access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or complaint support, subject to legal limits. We do not sell personal information. If Meta or similar tools are considered a "share" for cross-context advertising under applicable law, you may opt out through device settings or by contacting us.

11. International Transfers, Third-Party Links, and Changes

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live using lawful safeguards where required. Third-party links and services are governed by their own policies. We may update this policy and will update the date above; continued use means you accept the revised policy.
